Juliet is a Woman Within Facilitator-in-Training. She is a London based yoga teacher qualified in Vinyasa Flow and Yin and has a dedicated longstanding Jivamukti practice. She has spent years as a golf broadcaster working closely with athletes in high-octane environments with a pressurised lifestyle. The definition of yoga in Sanskrit is Citta Vritti Nirodhah, which translates as the quieting of the fluctuations of the mind. Yoga offers the opportunity to set aside the distractions and burdens we are faced with day-to-day and re-learn what it feels like to be in our bodies and listen to them, using movement, breath and meditation. Yoga merely as a gentle form of exercise can improve mood and mobility but practiced regularly it can ignite a more mindful way of living and give us some basic and vital skills that we need on the road to empowerment.
