Joanne did the Woman Within Weekend in 1992, and feels like it was one of the turning points in her life. She began to staff weekends immediately, an experience that she recommends as “woman-making.” After she helped create the first board in St. Louis, she held the position as E-circle Coordinator, and is now president of St. Louis Area W2W. She has led many circle trainings, and has sat in both women’s and mixed-gender circles. Her current circle is held online, with members from across the U.S. and 3 from Australia. She meditates daily, performs marriages, and holds Solstice and Equinox circles.
